This plant surprised me the first year it bloomed - I could not believe there was such a lovely large purple and lavender bloom in my seedling field. The huge rounded lavender eye makes this burgundy open form appear more bluish purple. The petals have a ruffled edge. The heart is light yellow-green. It has occasionally shown a pattern on cooler days. The sepals sometimes quill. Reblooms in our zone 4 garden, pod fertile. Very Limited!
