Opa's Big Black Wolf - 1 Fan

Opa's Big Black Wolf (Grossmann-M., 2027)

Height 40 inches, bloom 8 inches, season Early Mid, Dor, Tetraploid, 22 buds, 4 branches. I was amazed by this flower the very first time I saw it. A huge flower with a wide edge and lots of needle teeth. It has thick scapes to support the large flowers and presents the flower such that they can open well. Take a look at the clump photograph to get a little idea of how it will look in your garden. It is a difficult pod parent but an excellent pollen parent. I have already selected a number of seedlings from it and some of them have the long needle teeth that are so spectacular.
